Who We Are

Family
Owned.
KC Built.

Local crew, hands-on work, and a business built to last — just like the floors we install.

Our Story

Built on
Hard Work.

Asterisk LLC is a family-owned construction and service company rooted right here in the Kansas City metro. We started with a simple idea: do good work, be straight with people, and build something that lasts.

Our primary focus right now is epoxy flooring. It’s the work we’re proudest of and the service that has allowed us to grow locally. From garages and basements to commercial shops and workspaces, every job gets the same attention to detail regardless of size.

We believe in doing the job the right way, without shortcuts. That means showing up, working hard, communicating clearly, and taking pride in leaving every space better than we found it. The finished floor is what matters most, and we want the quality of the work to speak for itself.

We’re not a franchise or a national chain with local branding. It’s us, our crew, and our equipment. When you reach out, you’re talking to people who care about the work and stand behind the finished result.

We also provide general construction and warehouse maintenance work. As we grow, we’re building toward adding trailer rentals to the lineup while keeping our focus local, useful, and built around real customer needs.

How we Work

The Way We
Do Business

No Shortcuts

Surface prep is where most contractors cut corners. We don’t. Every floor gets ground, repaired, and properly prepped before a single drop of epoxy goes down. That’s why our floors last.

WE SHOW UP

We respond fast, we show up on time, and we do what we said we’d do. That shouldn’t be a competitive advantage — but around here, apparently it is.

STRAIGHT TALK

We’ll tell you what makes sense for your space and what doesn’t. If a cheaper option is the right call, we’ll say so. No upselling work you don’t need.

LOCAL ROOTS

We live here. We work here. The money you spend with us stays in the KC metro. We’re building a local business, not managing a territory for a national brand.

FREE ESTIMATES

Always. No trip charge, no commitment required. We come out, look at the job, and give you a number. If it’s not right for you, no hard feelings.

GROWING LOCAL JOBS

One of our core goals is creating good local jobs in the KC area. When we grow, we hire local. That’s the kind of business we’re building.
